The ULL is to be formally opened by Dr Mike Dunne, the Head of Science of the
Central Laser Facility, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory on Tuesday 27th June.

The ULL is now fully operational, and a "zeroth" Cycle of
experiments is underway. A first Cycle of User operation will begin in October
2006, and you should follow the "Access" link to obtain current
application forms and notes for guidance. Note that the deadline for
applications will be 1st August 2006.
